Official Bio
DENISE GANLEY (she/her) graduated from the Your Novel Year program at Arizona State University’s Piper Center for Creative Writing and the Certificate in Creative Writing program at Phoenix College. She has also spent some time with the Bestseller Experiment Academy and Storyteller Academy.
Denise is a member of the Desert Sleuths Chapter of Sisters in Crime and SCBWI. Her supernatural short story “The Relic Expert” placed as a semifinalist in the 2011 Faulkner Wisdom Contest and with Honorable Mention in the Writer’s Digest 80th Annual Writing Competition (Mainstream/Literary Category). And her latest short story, "Double or Nothing", is featured in the exciting crime anthology, SoWest: Love Kills.
Denise evades the sun in the Sonoran desert where she writes stories for all ages with a messy blend of fantasy, mystery, and heart.
